It's pretty fitting that two events out from retiring Rabid Angel comes full circle, spinning with a cohort from way the fuck back in the day. There will be carnage. And mayhem. And lots of sweaty, exhausted people on the dance floor. We hope. Last Res you all did fan-fucking-tastic jobs of dragging your friends out to the club on such short notice. As many of you probably know, I’m a huge Cubanate fan. And I’ve been pimpin’ Caustic since I received demos from UK&S a few months before that album came out. So this cover is, like, random unprotected sex with really hot people without fear of creepy STDs. It’s everything a guy like me could ever want.

“In the spirit of the U.S. and the U.K. finally burying the hatchet this 4th of July Caustic and Be My Enemy are releasing their collaboration of CUBANATE’s classic stomper Oxyacetylene!
(Okay, it’s just coincidental it’s coming out now. The U.S. and U.K. still hate each other.)
This track was originally performed at Sheffield’s RESISTANZ FESTIVAL in April, with Cubanate/Be My Enemy‘s PHIL BARRY surprising the crowd and performing with Caustic. Needless to say the response was huge so we put together an “official” version of the cover as a FREE DOWNLOAD for everyone, with Caustic’s live bassist at that gig Keef Baker contributing his parts as well!”
