> DIRECTIONS to The Asylum

Travel time from Boston is 1.5 to 2 hours depending on where you're leaving from and at what time.

* Take 128 or Rt 1 to I-95 N.
* You will pass through 1 toll in NH, which I think is $1.
* You will pass through 1 toll in ME, which I think is $1.75.
* Take exit 44 to Portland, I-295.
* You will pass through yet another toll (60 cents).
* Take 1-295 to the Franklin Street exit.
* You will go through a series of lights up a hill.
* Make a right onto Congress Street. There will be a big parking lot on your right.
* You will go through the heart of downtown Portland. Center Street actually intersects with Congress Street but it's a one way the wrong way. So pass Center Street and make a left onto Brown Street. The Stadium will be on the corner of Brown and Congress and you'll see Margarita's on the left.
* Go to the end of the street and make a left onto Free Street (you're going around the block). The next street up is Center Street and you should see the Asylum across Margarita's Parking lot. The Civic Center will be on your right. Take another left to get on Center Street (unless you see a parking spot). The Asylum will be on your right.
